Leadership
Marin Energy Collaborative is led by Yara Marin, an energy policy strategist working at the intersection of clean energy, public policy, stakeholder engagement, and community-centered decision-making across the Western United States. Her work spans state energy policy, legislative strategy, coalition building, public participation, and emerging energy issues. She helps organizations navigate complex policy environments, identify opportunities for collaboration, and develop strategies that connect innovative energy solutions with public-sector priorities and the needs of the communities they impact.
With a background in community and labor organizing, Yara brings a people-centered lens to energy work, grounded in meaningful engagement, strong partnerships, and an understanding of how policy and projects affect communities. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and holds a Master of Public Administration in Government and Public Policy.
